A simple wooden addition which fits snugly under the main front bench of the Cargo Bike. It has a lock so that you can keep valuables safe whilst you pop in the shop to pick up your skinny latte.

 

All our Bakfiets Cargo Bikes come with an AXA Basta Defender rear wheel lock which is permanently fitted to the frame. This immobilises the bike but does not prevent muscle-bound, van-driving crooks taking it away. The Axa RLC100 Chain Lock 'plugs' into the rear wheel lock and allows you to lock your beloved Cargo Bike to an immovable object such as bike stand, lamp post or tree. It's 1 metre long. Just chuck it in the box on every trip you make.

 

Children sat behind the saddle tend to have wandering minds and fingers. Whilst your backside is bouncing along on your springy saddle think what damage could be done to Johnny's fingers should they happen to pry inbetween the saddle springs. SNIP - just like scissors! This simple plastic device fits virtually any sprung saddle and eliminates that risk of digits going missing.

These guards easily bolt onto the legs of the Bobike Child Seat and prevent trousers, hands and feet getting whisked into the wheels whilst on the move. Essential really!

A good quality rear child seat suitable for most bikes with a rear rack. It also fits the Bakfiets rack but you will need to buy a special 'Buegel' (Dutch for bracket) to do this. We sell these - see below.

This version comes with the standard fixing bracket and a raincover which folds away into the base of the seat to keep it dry!
