It comes in one size only but the clever design means that it truly is a 'one size fits all' bicycle. This means the Mundo can be used like a family car everyday which makes it serious value for money. It has a very comfortable 'sit up and beg' riding position and despite it's burliness it is easy to ride both with or without a load. Maximum safe load is 200kg! Yes 200kg! YUBA MUNDO CHILD SEATS
You can now fit a child seat directly onto the rear rack of the Yuba Mundo.!What's even more exciting about this is that you can fit two of them to the rack if so desired! The seats are available to buy seperately in our Parts shop or you can take advantage of our Yuba Mundo bike packages with child seats to save money!
For all Yuba Mundos there are currently 3 assembly/delivery options to choose from:
Option 1 - Standard disassembled - We strongly recommend that you take the box of parts to your local bicycle mechanic. We can ship it directly to them (once you have told us where they are - please send us an e-mail via our contact form after you have checked out with the address of the cycle shop we should ship to). It's probably wise to 'sound out' your bike shop of choice - just to check how much they will charge you (budget on around £50). Alternatively we can ship it to you direct and you can take it from there. If, however, you are competent at assembling headsets, forks into frame, setting up the gears from scratch and bolting the rack to the main frame then you could save yourself some money and do it yourself. Option 2 - Standard 80% assembled - This option leaves you with some pretty easy assembly. Attach front wheel, attach handlebars, reconnect brake cables, insert seatpost and saddle into frame and attach the rear wide rack. Tools required a couple of allen keys and adjustable spanner. Again if you would still rather a qualified mechanic do this we can ship to a local cycle shop or to you directly if you feel up to the job!
Option 3 - Fully Assembled - If you live near Lytham which isn't too far from Lancaster, Preston or Manchester you could pick the FULLY assembled Yuba Mundo up in person - call us on 01253 739680 to arrange this. You can still pay online but select the "collect from Practical Cycles" option when adding to cart. At the checkout stage you will simply pay a £50.00 deposit and you will also be charged postage - don't worry - we'll subtract the postage from the final balance when you collect your Mundo.
