- A bicycle security tagging system that doesn't require the need for a special tag reading device!
- This system can be read by any smartphone with a downloaded barcode reader App installed.
- Great as a theft detterent
- Great way to assess credentials when buying a (tagged) bike - is it legit or stolen?!
Here's how it works:
1/ Attatch two of the bar code stickers to your bike - one is supposed to be well visible to act as a theft deterrent. The other should be hidden somewhere out of easy view.
2/ Log onto the website www.bikerevolution.org and enter the details of the bike you have attched the barcode stickers to.
3/ Should you bike be stolen, log back onto the website and report the bike as stolen - that way if it is offered to someone for sale who scans the bar code - they will see that it is stolen and belongs to you.
4/ hey presto - you are reunited with your bike!
- Note bar code scanning software/apps are free of charge to download for smartphones such as the iPhone and Blackberry - just go to the regular app store for your mobile and you'll find one or more apps there.
- 1 pack per bike.
- Works anywhere in the world.
