Similar to the Avid BB7 brake (above) in that the brake pads can be adjusted independently which means no rubbing noises from pad on rotor!

This is a useful device to prevent your laden steed going for a little ride without you in the saddle! It's especially useful for those who tow a trailer behind their longbike as these can often multiply the run-away tendancies of laden bikes. Those who live in hilly areas may also benefit from the extra security these simple components offer whilst your bike is parked.
How do they work? Simple - squeeze the brake lever and push the button. This locks the pads in place on the rim or rotor. To take the brake off, simply squeeze the lever again and the button disengages - off you ride!

Straight alloy road bar levers for straight or straight-ish bars (ie not drops!)
These come with interchangeable clamps which means you can fit them to handlebar ends with 22.2mm or 23.8mm diameter. They are made frfom aluminium alloy.

Designed for time trials - so what the heck are they doing on here you say! Well, they also work good on certain handlebars - the sort you might find on your fixie or a Practical singlespeed steed.
Should fit most bar end diameters 22.2-23.8mm as they have an expanding plug which installs inside the bar end. The cable is also concealed so that it can run underneath the handlebar tape if required.
We reckon these pair well with our Velo Orange Belleville Handlebars...

These are designed for use on road bikes with drop/curved handlebars. They will bolt easily and securely to any road handlebars with a 23.8mm diamater.
We think these are great for authentic period builds of classic retro racing bikes and, of course, any modern day bastardised anachronistic fixie or singlespeed build (we mean that in a good way of course!). They will look even better on handlebars wrapped with some nice leather bar tape - such as the Velo Orange tape you can find in our shop...
