When you need to carry more than you can on a normal bike but don't want to use your car you should consider buying a cargo bike. Sometimes cargo bikes are called work bikes or load bikes. Some cargo bikes are good at carrying big or heavy loads, others are good for shopping. Some cargo bikes are even good for carrying children - a good example of this is the Bakfiets cargo bike (a little like the Zigo and Taga) which are Dutch Bikes. You can see these types of bikes ridden in Cambridge or Holland. These are great for mums on the school run and safer than child trailers, child tagalongs or any other cargo trailer.
